The aim was to help authors express their ideas clearly, concisely, and creatively.

This role also entailed researching and writing articles as needed to support publications, participating with the MDS Communications team to generate content for a weekly membership e-newsletter, collaborating with in-house graphic designers on the layout and design of publications, and maintaining budgets for publications.

Smaller tasks included (but were not limited to) writing weekly blog posts for dentists, managing social media accounts for dentists on Instagram and Facebook, managing email campaigns for dental companies, writing social media posts for dentists, copywriting advertorials for dental products & services, proofreading manuscripts and providing developmental edits, “beta reading” manuscripts and giving feedback to the author in order to help them polish their manuscript, copyediting, copywriting, etc.
